Highlights

In 1931, the family entrepreneur Alois Kober lays the foundation for today's AL-KO KOBER GROUP by founding a forge in Großkötz (Bavaria).

From 1961, the international expansion of the company begins, the production of lawn mowers is started (1966) and the AL-KO Airtech division is founded (1975).

In 2016, the strategic realignment of the group takes place. AL-KO Fahrzeugtechnik and Dexter Axle merge to form DexKo Global Inc. It is the prelude to a forced growth strategy and lets numerous acquisitions follow from 2017.

In November 2022, AL-KO Airtech will become part of the international air conditioning group Trane Technology, which is thus expanding its production footprint in Europe and Asia.
